Loose poison baits should always be kept out of the way of children. All rodenticide baits should be kept well away from rodent pets such as rabbits, gerbils, hamsters or pet mice / rats.
What is a suitable bait for rat or mouse traps?
Peanut butter or chocolate spread make ideal baits.
Will the Moth Killer Hanging Unit stain my clothes or make them smell?
No. The Moth Killer Hanging Unit is designed to be non-staining, unlike mothballs that can taint clothes. Because it is odourless, clothes also do not have to be dry cleaned after these have been hanging up.

Yes. Secondary poisoning is when one animal is poisoned after consuming the flesh of another animal that has eaten poison. This can occur in birds of prey such as owls as well as other mammals like foxes and badgers. To reduce secondary poisoning, always make sure baits are not accessible to any non-target animals. Also try and ensure that poisoned rodent bodies are found and removed - these should be disposed of carefully.
