Rentokil Woodworm Treatment is a complete cure for timber and furniture attacked by common wood-boring insects, such as the Common Furniture Beetle, Death Watch Beetle, Powder Post Beetle and House Longhorn Beetle.
Specially formulated to penetrate deeply into timber, Rentokil Woodworm Treatment kills the eggs, grubs and beetles. The insecticide remains active to give long-lasting protection against re-infestation.
The treatments, which can be used in the home and garden, include a woodworm spray in three sizes and a woodworm treatment fluid aerosol.

Read the full product label before use. In severe attacks the timber strength will be weakened. In such cases or for major structural work we recommend you contact Rentokil Property Care to carry out a full survey.
CAUTIONS:
Floor Coverings:
Flooring treated with this fluid must be allowed to dry and ventilate for at least 4 weeks before laying foam-backed carpets or underlay. If necessary the carpet may be laid on polythene sheeting which should be removed after 6 months. However, polythene sheeting is not suitable for use on stairs and landings or under foam-backed carpets, rubber and plastic tiles, lino and sheet flooring. In these cases, the prescribed drying period of 4 weeks should always be left before laying the floor covering.
Absorbent materials:
Remove absorbent materials and insulation from roof areas and other enclosed spaces before applying Rentokil Woodworm Treatment. Do not replace for 14 days.
Electrical cables:
Ensure that electrical wiring and circuits are in sound condition before treatment. Do not apply Rentokil Woodworm Treatment to lead-covered cable or wiring in suspect condition. Cover junction boxes with polythene sheeting or ‘cling’ film before treating adjacent timbers. Isolate the area of treatment from the electrical supply by removing fuses before application commences.
