Luminos 1 Fly Killer is a highly effective glue board fly control unit designed for relatively low risk environments within food retail operations. It can be wall mounted or installed on a flat surface using an additional bracket. By trapping the insects, you avoid the problem of insect fragments, that can occur when using traditional electric grid fly killer units.

Technical Specifications
A series of tests carried out on Rentokil's Luminos fly killer range and competitor units showed that Luminos 1 fly killer outperforms a range of competitor products. The graph below reflects the calculated Half Life Time for the Luminos range.This test measures how quickly a unit catches 50% of flies in an area, and uses this as a proxy for overall effectiveness. The data indicates Luminos 1 is effective in low risk areas, whilst Luminos 3 or Luminos 4 fly control units are recommended in higher risk environments.
Luminos 1 fly killer unit conforms to all relevant European electrical and UV safety standards.The unit is supplied ready to use, with a 36W lamp and 2 glue boards. To ensure optimum performance, the glue boards should be replaced at regular intervals, dependent on infestation levels. The lamp should be replaced annually at the beginning of the fly season.
