In a series of tests designed to compare the effectiveness of various front of house fly control units, the Luminos Sapphire fly control outperformed many of the leading products currently available on the market.
The graph below reflects the calculated Half Life Time for a series of products. This test measures how quickly a unit catches 50% of flies in an area, and uses this as a proxy for overall effectiveness.
Luminos Sapphire fly killer unit conforms to all relevant European electrical and UV safety standards. The unit is supplied ready to use, with a hard wired cable, and requires limited installation. To ensure optimum performance, the glue board should be replaced at regular intervals, dependent on infestation levels. The lamp should be replaced annually at the beginning of the fly season.
