Property Care Association (PCA) Members
Rentokil Property Care are proud founder members of the Property Care Association (PCA) - the governing body in the property preservation industry. The PCA provides homeowners and commercial clients with access to qualified damp and timber professionals and waterproofing specialists and vetted property preservation companies that meet the highest standards.
PCA members have met strict membership criteria to demonstrate the high quality level of service, from surveying to remedial repairs. Often mortgage lenders will require a PCA-accredited surveyor for diagnosing property issues, which can speed up the home-buying process.
The PCA also provide professional industry qualifications that demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and treating damp problems, timber decay and woodworm, as well as waterproofing. Qualified surveyors are also proficient in the legal and health and safety aspects of surveying properties.
CSRT and CSTDB Qualifications
Certificated Surveyor of Timber and Dampness in Buildings, (CSTDB) is a nationally recognised qualification specialising in damp and timber issues found in buildings. The original Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatments (CSRT) qualification was updated to CSTDB in 2018 - but those surveyors with the CSRT qualification are still recognised and qualified.
Both the CSRT and CSTDB qualification give surveyors an in-depth knowledge of dampness, timber decay and woodworm, while understanding the effects and impacts of construction of buildings and materials used.
These qualifications signify a competent professional who can accurately and thoroughly diagnose a damp and timber issue, and identify the root cause of the problem.
All Rentokil Property Care surveyors are vetted to the highest industry standards as part of the PCA process to obtain these qualifications.
CSSW Qualifications
The certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) qualification is a nationally recognised professional certification for designing systems to prevent water ingress in below ground structures.
A CSSW qualified professional is able to design a waterproofing system to British Standard 8102:2022 guidelines.
Rentokil Property Care have CSSW qualified surveyors working out of our network of branches across the UK, meaning a qualified waterproofing expert local to you.
Which? Trusted Trader
Rentokil Property Care are proud members of the Which? Trusted Trader accreditation, which assists consumers in finding reputable traders.
Our services have undergone scrutiny by Which? trading standards professionals. This endorsement scheme recognises Rentokil Property Care as a trustworthy and reliable trader, meeting the highest standards expected by consumers.
We must comply with a strict code of conduct to renew our membership with Which? Trusted Trader, and must complete a rigorous application process in order to showcase our professionalism and customer service.
Trustmark
As PCA members, Rentokil Property Care are also part of the Trustmark scheme, the government-endorsed quality mark for tradespeople working in homes and businesses.
All Trustmark companies are thoroughly vetted and monitored continuously to meet the required standards in technical competence, customer service, and trading practices.
Constructionline
Rentokil Property Care are Constructionline members and part of a register of pre-qualified suppliers for construction contracts. This provides contractors and public bodies across the country a verified set of suppliers which helps simplify procurement. It assesses a companies' health and safety procedures, work quality, environmental standards in order to help meet industry compliance standards.
Alcumus (Safecontractor) Approved
We are members of the Alcumus (Safecontractor) accreditation scheme, a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme. Safecontractor promotes higher standards of competence and compliance by offering industry-specific health and safety assessments across various professions and sectors.
CHAS
Rentokil Property Care are part of CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme), which was created to improve health and safety standards across the UK. This means we meet the strict health and safety standards required for membership, both for our own employees and the general public.
CSCS Platinum Status
Rentokil Property Care have been awarded Platinum Status as over 90% of our onsite workers are CSCS card holders. CSCS was set up in 1995 to provide a way of verifying job specific training and qualification in the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. This commitment is determined by the proportion of the company’s onsite workers who hold full CSCS or affiliated cards that are valid and current.
CPD Standards Accredited
Rentokil Property Care can provide virtual webinars and in person CPD seminars that are accredited by CPD Standards. They are designed to help industry professionals keep up to date with current practice, new developments and legislation.
This includes landlords, social housing providers, local authorities, architects and building contractors enhance their knowledge of a range of property preservation topics written by our qualified expert presenters.
Helifix
Helifix are manufacturers of various structural products used for structural repairs, including crack stitching, structural anchoring, lintel repairs and wall tie replacement. We are approved installers meaning you're getting quality workmanship in line with strict industry standards.
Delta Membranes
We are approved installers of Delta membranes, manufacturers of high performance waterproofing products for below ground waterproofing. Rentokil Property Care surveyors and technicians go through on-site and classroom training in order to meet strict standards before being approved as installers.
