Pest Control in Swansea

Swansea is thought to have developed as a Viking trading post. It can be roughly divided into four, to the north the Lliw uplands (mainly open moorland), to the west the Gower Peninsula dotted with small villages, in the east is the coastal strip around Swansea Bay and though the middle (south-east to the north-west) lies the urban and suburban areas from Swansea city centre to the towns of Gorseinon and Pontarddulais.

Now little evidence, remains from medieval Swansea; its industrial importance made it a target for bombing in World War II and the city centre was virtually flattened. Swansea Bay Waterfront has a five-mile (8 km) sweep of coastline and a beach, promenade, children's lido, marina and maritime quarter featuring the museums the National Waterfront Museum and Swansea Museum, the oldest museum in Wales. A number of local beaches around Swansea Bay (Langland Bay, Caswell Bay, Oxwich Bay and Llangennith) also draw in tourists and holidaymakers.

Pest Control expertise throughout Swansea

Swansea has a range of pubs, bars, clubs, and restaurants to sustain locals and visitors, with the majority of city centre bars situated on Wind Street. The Mumbles Mile, once described as "one of Wales's best-known pub crawls" has declined in recent years with a number of pubs being converted into flats or restaurants.

Rats and mice are opportunistic scavengers in urban areas from Mayhill to Pentre-Chwyth, that can offer them easy food and shelter. Rodents are omnivorous, consuming everything, from the contents of refuse and compost bins and discarded left-overs to fruits and seeds in gardens and parks or food in our homes if they get in. If you’ve seen signs of rats or mice the safest and most effective way to get rid of rodents is by professional, targeted treatments.

Scavenging gulls will take food scraps from restaurants, cafes, takeaways and unsecured bin bags, making these locations ideal for nuisance birds. Our local bird control specialists offer innovative, effective deterrents for a variety of nuisance birds, to keep your premises free from gulls and feral pigeons.
